As a nationally recognized business executive, education leader, entrepreneur, nonprofit professional, community advocate and organizer, and a Gallup certified strengths coach, W. Stan Holland distinguishes himself above other top-level management executives by leveraging his leadership and coaching talents towards the personal and professional development of people and his work for the greater good.

His training and skills as both a leader and a senior level executive were built on the foundation of a 24-year military career followed by a series of proven progressive assignments with corporate, education and non-profit organizations. Previously, he served as Managing Consultant for Thomson, a world-wide outplacement firm where he planned, organized and executed delivery of outplacement consultant services to mid-to senior level executives from an array of Fortune 500 companies nationally. He met with top Fortune 500 customers, built credibility and demonstrated Thomson’s delivery capability that consistently exceeded annual service and revenue targets.

His dominant talents are Learner, Achiever, Arranger, Self-Assurance and Responsibility. He has consistently and successfully used these talents as a business and educational leader--equipped and driven to handle any scenario facing business, education, government or nonprofits.

Throughout his career, his leadership has brought greater alignment and health to organizations in the areas of strategy, execution, and renewal. The results of such alignment have propelled organizations to over-perform or outperform others over the long-term. His innate talents to develop, retain, recruit and engage associates at every level have been his legacy and hallmark. He understands that as associates grow and develop, they must continuously re-invent themselves through changing and shifting mindsets while possessing the skills to perform with excellence at the next level. This is accomplished through exposure to increasingly challenging and diverse assignments, practice and skill development.

Stan has spearheaded and pioneered numerous business and educational startups and turnarounds during his career. He and his wife recently started their own consulting firm that focuses on coaching individuals, teams and partners in Gallup’s Strengths-Based Development Program.

His affinity for giving back to his community through civic and volunteer activities stems from the help he received from his extended family growing up in the church, community, schools, Boy Scouts, YMCA, tutoring and as a champion of noble causes. He one day hopes to start a nonprofit dedicated to educating and empowering youth of color.
